She's not her chaos

she loved

like wildfire—

too bright

too fast

and always

too much.

her heart

was not broken,

it was

fractured

and re-glued

every day

by hands that

shook

from holding on.

they called it

borderline,

but it felt

more like

a battlefield

between

who she was

and who

she was afraid

to be.

don’t tell her

it’s just emotions—

tell her

you’ll stay

even when

the storm

makes her

push

you away.

she is not

her chaos.

she is

what survives it.
